Acupuncturists’ Role in Urgent Care equips licensed acupuncturists—recognized as primary care providers in California—with the skills to confidently manage urgent conditions such as respiratory distress, injuries, and neurological disorders.
The course aims to bridge the gaps in traditional training through real-life case studies, hands-on practice, and instruction in emergency recognition, and ethical care. It also promotes patient education, research, and integrative care advocacy.
Drawing from HeCares’ extensive experience at leading hospitals and subacute centers, including Stanford, UCSF, and UC Davis, the course offers valuable insight into hospital-based care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
